Ida's kitchen is fantastic. We ordered catering for our small group of 20 and it was very well received. Salmon and Moroccan chicken were among the favourites but really all was great. Service was outstanding from start to finish. I look forward to doing it again for another event. Highly recommend!

The food at our daughters wedding was amazing. We got so many compliments during the evening and later. The portions were plentiful, the staff was very efficient and very professional. We were a bit worried about how things would fall into place since all the food had to be prepared offsite and brought to our venue. Everything was set up beautifully and on time. The staff also did a wonderful job packing up and cleaning up at the end of the night. Thank you for making our wedding a memorable one. I have already recommended you to many people, and will keep you in mind for any future events.

Just wanted to write you to tell you thank you very much for what an amazing job you did on Saturday for our wedding. I have had a huge amount of our guests compliment how great the food was. The appetizers were a hit and everyone said that they were stuffed. The lat night pizza station was also loved. Thank you again for providing excellent quality of food at our occasion with the class and presentation we were going for. I would also like to thank your staff. We were blown away by how smoothly and efficient the staff operated. they were extremely polite and were on top of absolutely everything we asked of them. They really were the icing on top with their great quality of service.



I would certainly recommend you to anyone i know who is having a wedding or event and rest assured that in the future should me and Rebecca be hosting anything that needs catering i will be giving you a call.

Our Wedding was on the most romantic day of the year. And Ida's Kitchen helped make it the perfect day.

I had gone on line looking for caterers serving the York Region area and Ida's website came up. I spent some time looking at all the information that was available on her site. It was so extensive! There was no other caterer that gave me so much information to help me make up my mind. And then when I called I spoke with Ida herself. She was so sweet that I knew right then that I had found my caterer. We went over all the details of what I needed for our wedding that would be held in our home. The estimate was exactly what I was hoping for in a price and the deal was settled.

While we were getting married at home I didn't want to have to worry about any of the logistics. And Ida made sure that was the case. They brought the tables, chairs, linens, plates, cutlery, glasses and so on. And when the event was done, they took it all away. Not one dish to wash!

And the food! People are still talking about the Beef Tenderloin! How was it possible that a caterer was able to serve a dish that melted in your mouth!

We started the event with champagne, strawberries and chocolate. After the ceremony, Ida had three servers on site serving a selection of five hors d'hoerves. It was followed by a three-course plated dinner for 30 guests that was made by the two wonderful cooks who took over my kitchen. And for dessert there was a delicious selection of Dufflet's pastries set out on each table while we were served tea and coffee. And did I mention the amazing bartender who was a wonderful idea of Ida's. We didn't even have to pour our own drinks. I can't say enough about Ida and her company. If you need catering, then consider Ida's Catering. You won't be disappointed!!!

We certainly lucked in when we searched online for a local caterer and discovered Ida's kitchen. We wanted to celebrate a milestone birthday this August at our home and not be worried about preparing , serving and cleaning up afterward, so that we could focus on our guests and the celebration. The food was amazing, our chef and server were beyond helpful and competent. More about the food ... Ida gave us excellent advice and we had a tasting menu of 12 different dishes which would satisfy any and all dietary issues , needs and preferences. The quality, taste and presentation was absolutely all that we hoped for and the caring, attentive , respectful and unobtrusive service capped off a truly memorable day. Months later, several of our friends still remark upon how much they enjoyed the food on that occasion.

Ida's Kitchen has catered a number of events for us over the years, the latest being an 80th birthday party. We know we can count on delicious food delivered/served on time and as ordered. Both Ida and her husband, Michael, are personable, professionals who make every effort to ensure that customers are satisfied. They genuinely care that your event is a success and take pride in what they do, making Ida's Kitchen a real asset in Richmond Hill.

Ida's Kitchen cater our wedding on July 11th 2015 and did a remarkable job. Unlike other caterers, when I asked for a quote she broke down all the costs, including servers and rentals.



Her food is outstanding! The salmon and morrocan chicken were out of this world as were the amazing salads. The mini grill cheese with tomato bisque was also a hit.



Ida was so helpful in the planning process, easy to get a hold of and extremely accommodating to our needs as well as budget. The staff was super friendly and helpful as well. Our guests, many whom are foodie types raved about the meal.



You can't go wrong with hiring Ida's Kitchen for your next event.

Ida catered my hubby's 50th birthday party over the weekend, and helped to make this an extra special event. She and her partner were very friendly and helpful in helping us set up the food, and giving good advice on how to serve it. The food was delicious and suited all the various needs of our guests. Everything arrived fresh and on time and exceeded mine and our guest's expectations. I would definitely ask Ida to cater any future events we might have.
